She was fortunate to gain a vast experience in her early years post qualification by achieving a position on the prestigious General Professional Training programme in Scotland. She worked both in general practice and in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Queen Margaret Hospital in Dunfermline. Eleanor then went on to take several posts specialising in OMFS, Children’s and Restorative Dentistry. At this time she also became a member of the Faculty of Dentistry at the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh, by gaining her MFDS RCS (Ed).
Eleanor then spent time gaining more experience in dental practices and moved to Switzerland in 2014, initially working in Dr Cressida Dawson’s practice in Geneva, and now, of course, at Cabinet Dentaire du Seujet.
Eleanor has a special interest in Cosmetic and Aesthetic Dentistry, attending multiple courses and notably in 2012/13 completed the year long Postgraduate Certified Cosmetic and Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry course delivered by Dr Chris Orr, one of the UK’s leading Cosmetic dentists and former President of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Eleanor was awarded as a finalist for the prestigious Aesthetic Dentistry Awards UK 2014 for her management of complex tooth whitening cases and has been certified in Invisalign invisible braces.
Eleanor is a general family dentist and believes in holistic care, her background allows her to look after aspects of your care that other dentists may have to refer to colleagues such as the more complex management of cosmetic case and any surgical requirements such as wisdom teeth or complicated extractions.
She has a friendly, open and honest approach, ensuring that patients fully understand all their treatment options and those that are best suited to their individual needs. Eleanor can provide consultations in both English and French.
